Pergolas Built To Span A Real Texas Backyard.

A pergola is a structure — wind load, beam span, post footing all matter. We design and build pergolas in DFW engineered for the climate, not catalog-grade kits that sag in five years.

Custom Pergolas FAQs

Do I need an HOA approval?+

Almost always, yes — in The Colony, Frisco, Plano, Prosper, and most master-planned communities. We prepare drawings and specs and submit on your behalf when you want us to.

Do I need a permit?+

Permanent covered structures and electrical work usually require permits in DFW municipalities. We pull permits where required and build to inspection.

How long does a pergola take to build?+

Most pergolas are 1–2 weeks from start to walk-off after materials arrive.

Can you attach a pergola to my house?+

Yes — and as roofers, we flash it into your existing roof system properly so it doesn't become a leak source.

Cedar or steel?+

Cedar gives warmth and a traditional look; steel gives clean modern lines and the longest spans. Both perform well in Texas with proper finish and design.
